Successful completion of an NCUK programme guarantees you a place leading to an appropriate degree at a partner university.
Each university has different grade requirements for different courses. Whether you receive a conditional offer from the university of your choice will depend upon your performance and predicted grades during the first part of your NCUK programme. The university's conditional offer will be expressed as the NCUK programme grades/scores you must achieve in order to secure your place at that university.
If your final results do not meet the conditional offer(s) you are holding, but you achieve the minimum requirements stated below, NCUK will find you a university place. However, the place we find you may not be at a university you originally chose.
The minimum grades required in order to be eligible for the NCUK guarantee are based on results in two subject modules plus Key Skills.
Subject Module Grades: In addition to Key Skills grade D, students must achieve a minimum of two 'D' grades (120 NCUK points) in subject modules to progress to university.
Key Skills: All students must achieve a grade D or above in their Key Skills module; without a Grade D NCUK cannot guarantee to place you at university.
Remember: the better your grades, the greater your choice.
