NCUK Expands its Delivery Centre Network in China
NCUK is pleased to announce two new partnership collaborations in China - International Education Exchanges & Services Ltd (IEES) and Han Terry Consultancy which between them will launch four new centres in the 2010/2011 academic year. The four centres – based in Xinxiang and Zhengzhou in Henan and Shenyang in Liaoning- will become part of our growing network in China . Also new for 2010/11 is an IFY centre established with Oncourse in Xi’an, Shaanxi province and the Graduate Diploma centre in Beijing with Aoji. NCUK has a long track record of success in China - more than 5,000 Chinese students have transferred to continue their studies in NCUK partner universities since the company’s China operations began in 1999.
IEES has been in the education business for 17 years in Henan province providing consultancy services on study overseas, international exchanges and joint programmes. Established more than 12 years ago in Liaoning province as a student recruitment agency, Han Terry has also run a Foreign Language Training College offering IELTS preparation classes.
Director of NCUK’s Asia Pacific Office, Paul Turner, is looking forward to developing programmes with new as well as established partners. “It is good to see IEES and Han Terry joining the NCUK family in China. Both are well established players with good reputations in their areas. Working with these partners, we can reach even more students to offer a high quality education experience that starts close to home but which helps them on their way to an exciting and fulfilling international career.”
