Undergraduate Preparation - International Foundation Year (IFY)
Entrance Requirements
Minimum Entrance Requirements for the NCUK IFY: Students usually need to have successfully completed 12 years of school education with satisfactory passes in their leaving examinations. A minimum English language level of IELTS 5.0 (TOEFL 500) and a good level of mathematics is required. However, in many NCUK Centres there are options for students who are below this level for mathematics and English (or who have not completed 12 years of school education) by studying an Extended IFY or Pre-IFY. Study of either of these programmes will help to improve both English language levels and mathematics ability.
Before you enroll for any NCUK programme you should seek advice on the suitability of your school qualifications from your nearest NCUK Centre
