International Foundation Year
Imperial Institute of Higher Education (IIHE) was established in 1996, starting its operations on a very modest scale, and partnering with established higher education institutions to offer students options to study undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses with 1,600+ students graduating these courses. For over 25 years, IIHE has maintained a reputation for “Quality” in the delivery of tertiary education. This was possible as IIHE is required to satisfy the rigorous demand of the Quality Assurance Agency of the U.K. and its partner institutions. Continuous evaluations are carried out by these institutions to ensure that IIHE is conducting the programs in accordance with the agreed standards. “Quality” is at the heart of everything that IIHE does and opens opportunities for higher education to sync with their mission to produce business leaders of the future, which is increasingly sought by Sri Lankan corporate and SME sectors. IIHE delivers the NCUK International Foundation Year; students who successfully complete this qualification will gain guaranteed access to NCUK University Partners worldwide.
Every generation has an obligation to make the next generation better. The purpose of education is influenced by the fast-changing business world, and as a result education institutes, particularly those in tertiary education, are compelled to relook at the offerings.
