Taipei Municipal NanGang High School
Nan Gang High School established the department of junior high School in 1967, established the department of senior high School in 1999. ” Versatility, Vigor, Excellence, and Innovation – All Winners’ Happiness Schools” is the vision of school. We take “student learning as the center” to pay attention to each student, provide students with appropriate choices and appreciate the diverse performance of students. Under such a vision and goal, students can “know themselves, perceive life, care for society, and look forward to world.”
We believe in the following three attitudes towards life. Diligence generates more confidence, introspection brings more progress and the more you share the more you get. And we have high expectations for our students to be able to hold these attitudes to pursue and display our school visions. Thus, in particular, we carved these concepts on the wall at the school’s front gate. We hope that before leaving the school, each student can look at these words, remember them on their mind, and put them into practice in their daily life.
Nan Gang High School is the school with a core “Education of Love and Thoughtful Care” by focusing on a humanity-based education and practical education for promoting a “holistic educational” philosophy. For this reason, we grow pupils’ critical thinking and problem solving skills to improve their learning and to prepare for future life in this fast-paced world.
