Please note that these terms set out NCUK’s minimum requirements and offers may vary depending on students’ prior educational background and application. The final decision on a student’s acceptance on a degree programme is with the NCUK University. We guarantee one offer at an NCUK University, however this may not be your university of choice.

Students with UK or EU nationality are eligible to apply for a degree programme at an NCUK University. Students will need to successfully complete the NCUK qualification prior to a decision being made on their application. The NCUK University will assess and make a decision on the application, and determine the fee status for the student. Students may be required to complete an additional fees assessment form to assist the university in this process.

  • EAP/EAPPU: All students must achieve a minimum of overall grade C with no less than grade D in each EAP skills component (Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking). Even if grades are adequate in subject modules, without an EAP grade D in all components we cannot guarantee a place at an NCUK University.

If you achieve below grade D for one or more of your EAP skills components , you will need to take and pass an additional language test to be offered entry to a degree programme. If you miss the requirements for your chosen degree programme you may have the option to undertake a pre-sessional English programme at an NCUK University. Entry to these programmes requires students to take an additional English test such as IELTS.
