Why did you choose to study with NCUK?

The qualification’s seamless transition from my current college curriculum to the NCUK foundation year offers a golden opportunity to pursue higher education without the stress of a complex application process. This pathway not only guarantees a spot at the university but also ensures a smooth continuation of the academic momentum I’ve built. How has your NCUK experience helped you to get to where you are today?

As a dedicated biomedical student, my future goals are centred around contributing to advancements in medical research and healthcare. Driven by a passion for understanding the intricacies of human health, I aim to pursue postgraduate studies in molecular biology, with a focus on genetic research. My aspiration is to delve into cutting-edge research, unravel the mysteries of genetic disorders, and potentially develop innovative therapies. By collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of scientists, clinicians, and biotechnologists, I hope to bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and practical medical applications. Ultimately, I envision a career where I can actively contribute to improving diagnostics, treatments, and overall patient outcomes, playing a role in shaping the future of healthcare through the lens of biomedical innovation.
