We are delighted to bring the NCUK Partner Conference to China in April 2023!

This event, which takes place on 23-24 April 2023, will take place at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center and we look forward to meeting with you to collaborate and share new and exciting news from NCUK. On this page, you will be able to view the outlined agenda for the conference as well as the registration form for you to complete. Full details of the conference will be shared after registration.

Sunday 23 April – Partner Gala Dinner

The exclusive Partner Gala Dinner will commence the China Partner Conference, allowing NCUK to recognise our valued Delivery Partners. This will be a great opportunity to celebrate collaboration within the NCUK Global Network, as well as to take part in photo opportunities with NCUK’s Chief Executive Officer and Global Business Development Director.

Welcome drinks will be offered at 17.00 and the Gala Dinner will take place from 18.00 in the Beijing Hall, a private dining room at the Kempinski Hotel. Full details are to be shared upon registration.

Guests attending the Gala Dinner will be eligible for a one-night stay (Sunday 23 April) at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing, courtesy of NCUK.

The day’s sessions will commence with registration and coffee, allowing guests to interact and prepare for the day ahead.

09.00-09.15: Welcome

Official opening of the China Partner Conference 2023 with a warm welcome from our team and overview of what to expect from your conference.

10.15-10.45: Embracing the Future: NCUK's Digital Transformation Project

In this session, we will delve deeper into what our partners can expect from our Digital Transformation Project, how it will impact our business and, most importantly, how it will benefit our partners and students. We’ll also provide an outlined timeline of the project and describe the expected engagement necessary to ensure its success. With plenty of time reserved for Q&A, this is a great opportunity to learn more about this exciting new direction for NCUK.

11.00-11.45: Navigating the Chinese Market: NCUK Qualifications and Recruitment Strategies

This session will provide attendees with an overview of the Chinese market, including how NCUK qualifications stack up against competing programmes. We’ll explore opportunities to promote Australian and New Zealand study destinations and how these can become a new recruitment stream and business opportunity. Additionally, we’ll dive into the latest student recruitment and marketing techniques to help our partners attract the best and brightest candidates. As a special guest, we will welcome representatives from New Oriental Beijing, who will speak about their own successful recruitment and marketing strategies- sharing insights, new ideas, and effective messaging about NCUK.

11.45-12.30: Innovating for the Future: NCUK Product Update and Workshop

In this session, we’ll provide an update on the latest developments in NCUK’s product line, including our new academic statistics and product roadmap. We will also be breaking into groups to workshop and design NCUK’s next new product! This is your chance to collaborate with fellow NCUK Partners and help shape the future of our organization. We’ll provide all the resources you need to develop and pitch your ideas.

12:30 – 13:30: Lunch and networking

13.30-14.30: Global Opportunities: University Partnerships and Placements

In this session, we’ll showcase our new university partnerships from around the world and discuss how we communicate with students about their best choice of institution and subject area.  We’ll explore the unique work-based learning opportunities available at these institutions and highlight their policies regarding international students. This will include important topics such as work rights, post-study work, visa approvals, scholarships, and much more.

14.30: Closing Remarks and group photo

How much does the Partner Conference cost to attend?

The NCUK China Partner Conference is a free event which has been exclusively designed for Delivery Partners from China. Guests only need to cover the cost of travel.

How many people can attend from my Study Centre?

Invitations have been sent to Delivery Partners across China however only two people per Study Centre are able to attend.

Do I need to book a hotel room?

No, NCUK will be covering the cost of hotel rooms and booking them on your behalf. This will only cover one night’s stay (Sunday 23 April 2023).

When can I check in at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center?

Information regarding checking in to the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center (including the time of check-in) will be confirmed closer to the time of the event.

What is the dress code for the Gala Dinner?

The Gala Dinner will require guests to wear formal attire.
