We are delighted to bring the NCUK Teachers’ Conference directly to you from 15 to 17 September 2021!

This event is being sponsored by The Sino-British College, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology who are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year and are one of NCUK’s longest-serving Delivery Partners.

What will you find at the NCUK Teachers’ Conference?

  • Over the course of this three-half-day event, you will be able to attend a range of live sessions delivered by experts. Topics include teaching higher-order skills, blended learning and teaching in the digital age, delivering EAP and supported Continuing Professional Development for teachers delivering NCUK qualifications.
  • An opportunity to meet with colleagues from across the NCUK Global Network and a chance to discuss NCUK’s Teacher Hub.
  • Interactive training sessions led by the NCUK team, university staff and external partners on topics such as supporting students transition to digital learning, digital poverty and its impact on engagement and much more.
  • The opportunity to hear how institutions can support each other and collaborate to improve teaching and learning.
  • Launch of the NCUK Student Induction

07.00 - 08.30 'Welcome to the Conference & Teaching & Learning in the Digital Age'

Stuart Smith, CEO and Emma Dawkins, Academic Director at NCUK welcome attendees to the NCUK Teacher’s Conference. This is followed by the conference’s first session on Teaching and Learning in the Digital Age.

The session will cover issues of language and labels, challenges of connectivity, digital poverty and the impact on learning design and engagement, building a digital curriculum, supporting the transition to digital learning, encouraging engagement and community building and an overview of what HE UK have done.
