Delegates

The 2+2 programme will give Thai students an opportunity to gain an undergraduate qualification from a leading UK university by studying the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) and International Year One in Thailand (IFY + IYOne) and the final two years of their degree (Year 2 and Year 3) at an NCUK university.

speeches

The launch event was hugely successful and was attended by students, parents, school counsellors, and agents where they met with NCUK Universities and Assumption University staff to learn more about the hundreds of degree courses available to NCUK International Year One students.

Thai students now have the opportunity to progress on a 1+2 or 2+2 pathway from high school gaining the experience of studying both in Thailand and in the UK. For more information about the IYOne qualification, please visit our website here.

The level of preparedness of NCUK students is demonstrated in the latest data collected from universities which shows that 90% of students who had studied the International Year One, achieved a first or second class degree.

Andrea Ward, Senior Lecturer at The University of Sheffield.

There was also the announcement of various scholarships that will be on offer to students enrolling onto the qualification in 2018. For more information about these scholarships, please contact Assumption University.

A current NCUK IFY student and parent spoke about the benefits of studying the IFY in Thailand and commented on the superb teaching and pastoral support they have received from Assumption University staff.

On behalf of NCUK I would like to say how pleased we are to be partnered with such a forward thinking and influential institution. Assumption University is well respected by students not just in Thailand but internationally too.
