NCUK attends Going Global 2022
Last week, NCUK’s representatives attended ‘Going Global 2022’, a conference for international education leaders hosted by the British Council in Singapore.
The main theme of Going Global 2022 was “International Education in the UK and Asia Pacific region: How to pursue equity in an inequitable world”. During this event, experts got together to discuss how lead universities and colleges can best serve their communities and how to shape a more equitable future for mobility of students.
NCUK’s Chief Executive Officer, Stuart Smith, had the opportunity to attend a series of plenaries and sessions that delved into current international education themes that explored the extent to which senior leaders can drive equity and what they can do differently to achieve better outcomes.
It was fantastic to be able to join the Going Global conference in Singapore and meet with colleagues from universities and prospective partner centres across the region, while also catching up with many of our UK university partners who were also attending. This was also a great opportunity to meet with lots of colleagues from across the sector, including a wide range of edtech companies.
