NCUK CEO Visit Turks and Caicos Islands Government Officials to Discuss Collaboration Opportunities for Education Advancement

NCUK’s Chief Executive Officer, Stuart Smith and Head of Progression, Brad Johnson recently made a trip to London to meet with officials from the Turks and Caicos Islands Government. The purpose of the visit was to discuss potential collaboration opportunities and support for education advancement in the region. Among the officials they met were Candice Williams, President / CEO at Turks and Caicos Islands Government; Hon. Rachel M. Taylor, Minister of Education, Youth, Sports & Social Services at Turks and Caicos Islands Government; and Edgar Howell, Director of Education, Department of Education at Turks and Caicos Islands.

The team had fruitful discussions about NCUK’s International Foundation Year and International Year One qualifications, as well as topics such as transnational education, study abroad relationships, internships, work experience, and career opportunities for students. NCUK is looking forward to continuing the conversation and exploring ways to support education and skills development in the region.
