NCUK partners with Crown Education in Myanmar

NCUK will offer the International Year One in Myanmar for the first time from September 2017.
NCUK have partnered with the Crown Education Learning Centre in Yangon, Myanmar. From the next academic year, students who are looking for a guaranteed route to UK universities will be able to study the IYOne, a 2+2 programme which guarantees students access to the second year of one of thousands of degree courses. Crown Education also have plans to introduce the International Foundation Year and Pre-Master’s Programme in the coming academic years.
Established in 2009 as an English language school, Crown Education has helped place over 500 students in universities across the world and has a reputation for academic success. In 2013, they began working in collaboration with ACT Education Solution Ltd (AES) to deliver the Global Assessment Certificate (GAC). Their latest step into the global education market with NCUK demonstrates their ambitions and the growing demand for international opportunities in Myanmar. After the country’s borders were officially opened for overseas trade in 2012, more and more students are seeking to expand their horizons by studying abroad.
Market Development Manager at NCUK, Amy-Rose Cauley, spoke of the exciting prospect of the first study centre in Myanmar.
