NCUK School Counsellor Conference, Thursday 27 April

NCUK recently held its inaugral Schools Counsellor Conference in Lagos, Nigeria.

School Counsellors and Head Teachers from across Nigeria were invited to attend this new event to learn more about NCUK, our qualifications, and our guaranteed access to some of the best universities in the UK.

Conference delegates had the opportunity to develop their counselling and leadership skills, build relationships with our prestigious partner universities, find out more about living and studying in the UK, and share best practice.

All delegates were awarded with School Counsellor Certification after completion of the Conference, accredited by NCUK.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Andy Straughan, NCUK’s Market Development Manager commented,

It was wonderful to have so much interest and engagement with local education representatives from across a number of schools and agencies from in and around Lagos. UK University representatives were also in attendance to share their knowledge and experience on a number of pressing issues.

It was evident that the proposition from NCUK – with its qualifications, broad university progression options and guarantee – was a big draw. We came away having made some great connections and look forward to building on these relationships – all with the view of providing as many opportunities as possible for Nigerian students with international degree aspirations, across our Study Centre network in Nigeria.
