NCUK Sponsors the China Schools Awards 2022!
Posted:
On Friday 17th June, NCUK attended the launch of the China Schools Awards along with a small group of school heads, government representatives, at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Beijing.
The China Schools Awards brings together all those involved in providing the very best international-oriented education in schools across mainland China and to celebrate the exceptional work that these schools continue to do in spite of extremely challenging circumstances.
The Awards launch event included speeches from HM Trade Commissioner for China John Edwards, Vice Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in China Julian Fisher, Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China Harriet Sheffer, explosive confetti cannons, and a panel discussion hosted by Venture Education Cofounder Zhubei and featuring Anthony Coles (Head of Dulwich Beijing), Rachel Dent (Head of Harrow Beijing), and Jayne Needham (Head of the British School of Beijing, Shunyi).
NCUK is extremely proud to be sponsors of the Enterprise and Employability Award this year which recognises the school that shows the greatest commitment and innovation in developing confidence, an enterprising mindset and the creative and collaborative skills its students need to thrive beyond their university pathways into the world of work.
With judges from all over the country, a transparent application and judging process audited by a global accounting firm, and judging criteria written by educators who understand what quality education is, these are THE most prestigious awards for schools in China.
NCUK looks forward to celebrating the successes of schools around China at the awards gala dinner in early November in Chengdu!
