Originating over a decade ago, the #WeAreInternational initiative champions the invaluable contributions that international students bring to universities, towns and cities across the United Kingdom.

On this occasion, NCUK proudly features Victoria Lay, a student who completed the NCUK International Foundation Year in Peru before embarking on her educational journey at Leeds Beckett University.
Currently about to complete her bachelor’s degree in music production, Victoria exemplifies the transformative power of international education, underlining the positive effects not only on international students themselves but also on domestic peers who benefit from the enriching diversity that global perspectives bring into UK academic institutions.
