Has Your Son Always Wanted to Study Abroad?
He has long had a dream of studying at a university in the UK. So when the NCUK established a study centre in South Africa, we naturally jumped at the opportunity to sign him up for the International Foundation Year Qualification.
We chose NCUK because we felt it was the best route available for our son to realise his dream of getting access to a UK university. And our experience has been remarkable and rewarding.
In What Way?
From the moment we began the journey with NCUK we got a clear idea of the criteria for success. It was quite simple – our son had to make sure he got the right grades and his entry into a university of his choice was guaranteed. It sounded too good to be true – but it wasn’t!
How Did Studying with NCUK Go?
It completely exceeded our expectations. The program is so well structured and the quality is excellent. The teaching is exceptional, robust and teachers are invested in every student’s success, pushing them to bring out their best. They were always available to provide additional support to students when needed too.
The level of engagement of the NCUK team was also very good. They connected with the students regularly to communicate important information, check on their wellbeing and ensure students are on track to meet all important deadlines in each milestone.
What About Getting into University?
The value of the NCUK really came alive for us during the university application process. The team were brilliant in guiding and supporting our son with his application process, navigating the UCAS system, and helping him narrow down his choice of degrees and universities to match his aspirations.
True to their word our son has now been accepted into his first-choice university and is delighted to be starting the adventure of his life in his chosen university. We believe the International Foundation Year Qualification has given him all the skills he’ll need to thrive in a UK university.
What Advice Would You Give Other Parents?
Choosing the NCUK was the greatest decision our son made for his future and we would recommend it to any student who has aspirations of studying internationally. We will always be grateful to the NCUK for the way they’ve helped make our son’s dream come true.
