Why did you choose to study with NCUK?
Going abroad is not only a means for gaining knowledge but is also about my personal growth and interaction with different cultures which will broaden my horizons. It is about stepping out of my comfort zone and challenging myself and NCUK was providing me with an opportunity to pursue my dream of studying abroad.
How has your NCUK experience helped you to get to where you are today?
Since I was young, studying abroad has been a dream of mine. I have always wanted to immerse myself in different cultures and experience new ways of life. Studying with NCUK has been an essential part of my study abroad journey. The International Foundation Year (IFY) qualification has provided me with the necessary skills to succeed in a foreign environment. The coursework, the supportive professors, and the community have helped me develop the confidence needed to stand out in a foreign country.
What are your goals for the future?
Currently, I’m navigating the decision of which precise niche within the media sector to delve into. My aspirations incline towards roles in 3D modelling, video editing, app development, and graphic design. In the long run, I envision establishing my own enterprise in this sector back in my home country
Do you have any advice for future NCUK students?
Future NCUK students should thoroughly research member universities to align with their goals. It’s crucial to take the preparatory programs seriously, especially English courses, to ensure academic success in the UK. Active participation in class discussions can enhance understanding and language proficiency. Developing strong time management skills will be invaluable as university studies demand balancing various tasks. If challenges arise, whether academic or personal, students should promptly seek available support services. Overall, NCUK offers a solid foundation for accessing top UK universities; maximise this opportunity and enjoy the journey!
