Victoria’s journey from Peru to Leeds with NCUK
Why did you choose to study with NCUK?
I chose to study with NCUK because it provided me with the opportunity to study abroad and have a guaranteed access to prestigious universities around the world.
How has your NCUK experience helped you to get to where you are today?
At NCUK I was academically prepared throughout the year in order to have a smooth transition not only from “school” to “university”, but also from my home country to the rest of the world.
What are your goals for the future?
I’d like to do music for films. I believe everything needs sound, and when you watch a movie the music or sound you hear can impact the way you perceive the story. My goal is to create a soundtrack that everyone recognises without even watching the movie.
Do you have any advice for future NCUK students?
You may feel like this is a very difficult decision to make, and it is indeed, but NCUK will always be there to support you through the entire process. Don’t be scared to ask questions because everyone at NCUK will always be glad to help you out. There is no wrong or incorrect question, so don’t be ashamed to ask the team.
