International Collaborations: De Montfort University visits Pakistan!

Earlier this month, Martin Booth, Senior Regional Manager at De Montfort University, visited Pakistan to meet with key stakeholders and tour one of NCUK’s Study Centres, the International Centre of Excellence (ICE Pakistan). The visit allowed Martin to meet with Irtaza Hassan, NCUK’s Country Representative for Pakistan, enabling both parties to discuss plans for collaborations between the university and NCUK Study Centres in Pakistan.

During the tour of ICE Pakistan, Martin, Irtaza and senior staff members at the institution spoke about future initiatives and recognised the importance of strengthening ties to better serve students’ needs and provide them with enhanced support throughout their academic journey. The visit emphasised the significance of joint efforts in achieving the objectives of enriching the student experience and fostering a student-centric approach.

ICE Pakistan delivers the NCUK International Year One from two centres in Islamabad and Karachi. Students who successfully complete the International Year One in Business Management from one of these two locations are guaranteed* entry to 20+ NCUK University Partners including De Montfort University.

Reflecting on the visit, Irtaza Hassan reaffirmed NCUK’s commitment to supporting its consortium partners in every possible manner. He highlighted the vision of NCUK in Pakistan, highlighting its dedication to facilitating educational excellence and student success.

It’s a brilliant opportunity for NCUK University Partners and Study Centres to collaborate in order to learn from one another and to look ahead to new plans and initiative.
