NCUK launches with The Royal Colosseum in Pakistan!
NCUK was delighted to visit Karachi, Pakistan to join The Royal Colosseum in launching NCUK qualifications!
The Royal Colosseum is a new NCUK partner in Pakistan and will deliver NCUK’s International Foundation Year and International Year One from September 2022.
As part of The Royal Colosseum’s launch activities, NCUK staff were invited to take part in a ceremonial lunch at Acton House in Karachi on June 21 2022. The event officially began with at Sceptre College where an official ribbon-cutting took place, carried out by Stuart Smith, NCUK Chief Executive Officer and Nisha Ghumro, The Royal Colosseum Academic Director and Chief Executive Officer (both pictured left).

Following the ribbon-cutting, which signified the commencement of the partnership between NCUK and The Royal Colosseum, guests visited The Royal Colosseum campus to look at the facilities which will be occupied by students in a few months’ time. Notable names and personalities, including the likes of Martin Dawson; Deputy Head of Mission, British Deputy High Commission Karachi, were in attendance.
At Acton House, representatives from NCUK and The Royal Colosseum gave speeches to guests, highlighting the positive outcomes of this partnership including the benefits for students studying NCUK qualifications with The Royal Colosseum and how successful completion can allow for students to gain a truly global experience about progressing to a university abroad. Following this, representatives and guests took part in photographs before having lunch which allowed for further exchanges and messages of congratulations.
Visiting Pakistan and joining the staff from The Royal Colosseum as well as other representatives from higher education for these launch activities has been a great honour and I would like to thank everyone for the hard work and efforts that have gone into making this a success. It was wonderful to join in person and I’m looking forward to how our partnership develops.

Prior to this, The Royal Colosseum hosted an Open House in June 2022 to launch NCUK with attendees including high-profile guests in the fields of Business, IT, Fashion, Law, Culinary Art and Media. This also included Martin Dawson (pictured left), Murtaza Wahab, Karachi Administrator and Jahangir Khan, former World No. 1 professional squash player. The event saw guests find out about the partnership from distinguished representatives from The Royal Colosseum and the British High Commission who presented speeches regarding the high-quality qualifications that were going to be delivered and the exciting opportunities that are available for students who choose to study with them. The Open House was a fantastic opportunity for The Royal Colosseum to announce the new partnership and offer insights, with a meet and greet session following their speeches and presentations.
The Royal Colosseum has worked hard to ensure that our partnership is a success and with the feedback from these launch events and their fit-for-purpose premises built specifically for the delivery of NCUK qualifications, I can confidently say that they have gone above and beyond. I foresee more great things to come and will be working with The Royal Colosseum along with other NCUK colleagues to achieve our goals and support more students from Pakistan in achieving their study abroad dream.
