Why did I choose The University of Sheffield?
When applying for universities, I made a small check list of things that would impact my decision on which university I chose:
- Firstly, I wanted to join a Russel Group university
- The cost of living in the city of my university needed to be reasonable
- If there were job opportunities available (especially during the holidays)
- The security in the city
- Entry requirements for my course
- Lastly some great nightlife in the city
One city ticked all of these boxes perfectly: Sheffield! This is why I chose The University of Sheffield as my first-choice university. When choosing your own university this might be a great way of finding out which university and area is the right fit for you!
