The International Foundation Year (IFY) is a qualification designed specifically to provide international students with a path to undergraduate degree study at a leading UK university.

When does the admission process start for the International Foundation Year (IFY)?

Is there an entry test required to enter the IFY?

To enter the IFY, the student needs to do an interview with our IFY coordinator, and get a minimum of 5.0 on our entry test. The entry test is called the Password Test. You can reserve a time to do our test with reception.

What are the minimum academic requirements (Eligibility) for the IFY admissions?

The minimum academic requirements for entry to the IFY are (1) minimum of 10.00 on your Baccalaureate and (2) a minimum of 5.0 on our Password Test.

Where and when can I do Password tests and interviews?

We do Password tests at any time between 10:00 and 16:00 from Monday to Thursday. Please, call and reserve a place in advance. The test costs 5,000DZ but you will be reimbursed if you pass and register for the IFY.

Will I get a UK visa?

Students who successfully complete the NCUK International Foundation Year have a 99% visa success rate.

What majors can a student do if they complete Algeria International Study Centre IFY qualification?

Algeria International Study Centre offers students who are interested in pursuing their Master’s degree in the United Kingdom the opportunity to do a Pre-Master’s Programme in Algiers, which will allow them to join one of NCUK universities, providing native-English speaking teachers and quality education.

What are the entry requirements?

• Have an IELTS (overall 5.5), or pass our NCUK Password test which takes 3 hours and costs 5000 D.A.
• A completed recognized Bachelor’s degree.
