Successful Science Workshops in Pakistan!

From February 1st – February 4th a number of science workshops took place at a number of local schools in Pakistan hosted by NCUK and Riphah International University.

Students were treated to exciting and innovative workshops by Professors from UK universities to demonstrate what to expect from UK universities and demonstrate research and teaching in the UK.

Maria McKenna, Regional Director from NCUK welcomed schools counsellors from prestigious Pakistani schools in Islamabad and Lahore to talk about the opportunities for their students with NCUK and Riphah International University.

It was a pleasure to give bright young students information about the UK education system as well as showing that there are plenty of opportunities out there as long as you work hard and strive towards your goals. Riphah is offering students in Islamabad and Lahore the ability to start their degree in Pakistan before transferring to one of 16 universities in the UK. Students can enter the NCUK International Foundation Year qualification with their Higher Secondary Certificate or IGCSE/ O Levels and can enter the NCUK International Year One directly after completion of A Levels.
