The University of Western Australia visits Taipei Municipal Jingmei Girls High School

On Monday 20 March, The University of Western Australia visited Taipei Municipal Jingmei Girls High School to meet with staff and students and present key information useful to those applying to study at the university. Regional Manager, Ms Alison Chen from The University of Western Australia, was welcomed to the school and was delighted to be met by the principal before being introduced to students.

During the visit, Ms Alison Chan gave a presentation on The University of Western Australia, including information on how to apply for scholarships at the Australia Group of Eight University, and what the requirements for these scholarships are. The event informed students about the fantastic opportunities available for international students and the benefits of studying an NCUK qualification in Taiwan before progressing to university. Students in attendance were appreciative of the information provided as they prepare for their final exams prior to graduation in June 2023.

Following Ms Alison Chan’s presentation, students shared their experiences of studying the NCUK International Foundation Year at Taipei Municipal Jingmei Girls High School. Following successful completion of this qualification, students will gain guaranteed* entry to NCUK University Partners worldwide.
