NCUK Alumni Stephen and Jihye Visit Manchester HQ to Share Inspiring Stories
Posted:
NCUK had the pleasure of welcoming two of our alumni, Stephen and Jihye, to our Manchester Headquarters yesterday. They paid us a visit to share their fantastic experiences studying NCUK’s International Foundation Year and to update us on their progress at university.
Stephen, from Taiwan, completed the International Foundation Year in his home country at Taipei Zhong Zheng Senior High School while Jihye completed it at INTO Manchester. Both then progressed to the University of Sheffield, where Stephen is studying a bachelor’s degree in business management and Jihye is studying a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
During their time at university, Stephen and Jihye have made the most of all the opportunities presented to them. Jihye is a proud member of the South Korea society, and she has also joined other societies where she is exploring her passion for becoming a data analyst.
Similarly, Stephen has been heavily involved in Project Sunride, a student society made up of engineers and students from other degrees who recently launched a rocket in the USA! It’s inspiring to see our alumni thriving and taking advantage of all the opportunities available to them.
On another note, we are thrilled to have Stephen as an NCUK Student Ambassador who recently wrote a blog post explaining why he chose NCUK and The University of Sheffield. You can read the full blog here.
We want to extend a big thank you to Stephen and Jihye for taking the time to visit us and being so generous by sharing their personal study experiences with the NCUK team. It was truly inspiring to hear how NCUK has helped shape their academic journey. To see more NCUK Alumni success stories, click here.
