NCUK hosts University Careers Fair in Kenya
On 17 January, NCUK hosted a University Careers Fair across two NCUK Study Centres in Kenya.
The event was well attended by parents, students and University representatives and gave attendees the opportunity to meet with NCUK University Partners in person to discuss their academic options after completing an NCUK qualification.
The events were hosted in Nairobi at both International University Pathways College (IUPC) and at Brookhouse School. These Study Centres have welcomed hundreds of NCUK students over the years and have seen them progress to world-ranked universities, where they have completed their international education.
Students and parents met with The University of Manchester, Cardiff University, University of Leeds, University of Bradford and many others and they also attended the support sessions delivered by NCUK’s Student Support colleagues at both centres.
These events have been a fantastic opportunity to speak with students and to learn more about what they want to achieve on their academic journey. It was great to visit the campuses in Nairobi and meet the Study Centre staff who NCUK’s Student Support team work so closely with. Being able to host the event in person was key and enabling students to meet NCUK University Partners directly has been an invaluable experience.
