Located in the heart of the East Midlands, Leicester is a historic institution renowned for its world-class research, commitment to student success, and central location.

This partnership provides NCUK students with direct progression routes into some of Leicester’s most prestigious academic programmes, including Medicine, one of the most attractive options available in the network. Leicester’s renowned Department of Genetics, famously known as the birthplace of genetic fingerprinting, discovered in 1984 by Professor Sir Alec Jeffreys, is a testament to the university’s innovative spirit.
