NCUK is proud to announce its expansion into Cameroon through strategic partnerships with Kelden International Pathways Centre and St. Louis University Institute. These partnerships were officially launched at a special event held at the British High Commission in Yaoundé on 25 April 2025, marking a significant step in expanding NCUK’s global reach and its commitment to widening access to world-class higher education.

From September 2025, both centres will deliver a range of NCUK programmes including the International Foundation Year, International Year One, International Year Two, and Master’s Preparation. This comprehensive offering gives students access to multiple academic entry points, enabling progression to top-ranked universities across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA.

Cameroon

This groundbreaking partnership between NCUK and its local partners here in Cameroon is a major milestone in fostering quality international education in Cameroon. This is the first-ever UK pathways programme in transnational education in the Central Africa subregion offering proximity and affordable across to world class learning from the UK to students. These study centres will provide Cameroon students with vast opportunities to achieve global excellence and advance their career ambitions while boosting shared economic growth.”

Matt Woods, The British High Commissioner in Cameroon

This expansion also brings NCUK’s transnational education (TNE) model to Cameroon, allowing students to complete up to two years of their undergraduate degree in-country before transferring to an international university to complete their studies. The model offers significant cost savings, greater flexibility, and reduced cultural transition challenges, while maintaining the high quality, trust, choice and support that define NCUK’s global offering.

Cameroon signing

This is an exciting development for students in Cameroon. By launching our programmes in Yaoundé and Douala, we are enabling ambitious learners to begin their international education journey closer to home, with all the quality, trust and support that NCUK is known for. We are proud to partner with two esteemed institutions who share our values and commitment to student success. I can’t wait to see how the market continues to develop and to welcome our first Cameroonian-based students soon.

Andy Straughan, Business Development Lead and Regional Director (Middle East & Africa) at NCUK

Programmes in Cameroon will commence in September 2025 and enrolment is now open.
