Welcoming New NCUK Study Centres – August 2025 Roundup
Posted:
As part of NCUK’s ongoing commitment to widening access to world-class higher education opportunities, NCUK is delighted to welcome two new Study Centres to our global network this August: the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM) College in Bangkok, Thailand, and Global Pathways International School (GPIS) in Yangon, Myanmar.
AIHM College, part of the renowned Asian Institute of Hospitality Management, brings Swiss-inspired hospitality education to one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic cities. Through its partnership with NCUK, AIHM will now deliver the International Foundation Year (IFY), International Year One (IYOne), and Master’s Preparation (MPP) programmes, enabling students to progress to NCUK’s global network of universities.
With a state-of-the-art campus overlooking the Chao Phraya River, AIHM’s unique campus environment also sets it apart as a Study Centre, offering an exceptional academic experience that blends internationally recognised qualifications, industry-informed teaching, and direct pathways to leading universities worldwide.

I was delighted to represent the Department for Business and Trade Thailand and support the expansion of these pathways to UK higher education through International Foundation Year, International Year One, and Master’s Preparation, all of which have been rigorously offered by NCUK in the past 35 years.

Global Pathways International School (GPIS), founded in 2022 by Strategy First Education Group, has quickly established itself as a leading provider of high-quality international education in Myanmar. With modern campuses in Yangon and Mandalay, GPIS delivers an engaging, dynamic learning environment designed to prepare students for global success.
By offering NCUK’s International Foundation Year and pathway programmes, GPIS ensures students receive the skills, support, and qualifications needed to access leading universities worldwide. Strategy First Education Group, with over 15 years of experience in the education sector, has successfully guided thousands of students toward higher education opportunities at top-ranked global universities, and this partnership with NCUK further strengthens that mission.
These new partnerships highlight NCUK’s dedication to growing its presence in Southeast Asia and creating more opportunities for students to begin their international education journey closer to home.
