The standard accommodation for all students in the residence halls is double occupancy rooms. The newly renovated Mervyn H. Sterne Library is home to the University Writing Centre. Here, students can receive help with their writing assignments through online or in-person tutoring. International students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) will also gain access to the INTO UAB Centre. The Centre has 14 classrooms, a student lounge and study areas.
