Scholarships

NCUK International Foundation Year Scholarships – Business School

The Business School has two scholarships available for NCUK students, although students cannot hold both scholarships simultaneously.

The Dean’s Business School International Excellence Scholarships. There are up to 50 scholarships available. A 50% reduction in tuition fees will be paid for three years of study. No application process is required – all candidates will be assessed via the information provided on UCAS. Terms and conditions apply.

NCUK Excellence Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded automatically – NCUK students will not have to apply for the scholarship. In order to qualify for the scholarship, NCUK applicants must meet or exceed the award conditions; those students who achieve A*AA or above on the NCUK International Foundation Year programme will be considered. The award is a £3,000 one-off fee waiver for the first year of the programme. Terms and conditions apply. NB: This award is NOT advertised on LUBS’ website. NCUK International Foundation Year Scholarships – Faculty of Biological Sciences

FBS is offering 10 x £10,000 International Excellence Scholarships that will be awarded to the highest achieving undergraduate applicants in year 1. To be eligible for this scholarship students must achieve one grade (or equivalent) above the published grade requirements or higher. Terms and conditions apply. Student application is required and students must have the University of Leeds as their firm choice.

NCUK International Foundation Year Scholarships – School of Earth and Environment

Students can be considered for a School of Earth and Environment – Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship of up to £5,000. This is automatically awarded (in increments) to any international applicant who has been offered a place on any of the undergraduate degree programmes within the School of Earth and Environment and achieves at least one grade above the published entry grade. NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) Scholarships – Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

Students may be considered for the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship of up to £6,000. Students must achieve at least one grade above the published grade. This award is automatically awarded to any international applicant who has been offered a place on any of the undergraduate degree courses within (terms and conditions apply):

NCUK International Foundation Year Scholarships – School of History

The School of History offers the Katrina Honeyman scholarship. All international students who are offered a place (on our BA History or BA International History and Politics courses) will automatically be considered for the £2,000 scholarship (awarded in each year of study) which is awarded in recognition of outstanding academic performance. NCUK International Foundation Year Scholarships – School of Law

International Undergraduate Scholarship – NCUK candidates are eligible for this. The entrance scholarship is awarded to any first-year international students who significantly exceed the entry requirements – for NCUK students this would be those with AAA or above (compared to the AAB offer requirements). The award is automatic and is £2,500 towards first-year tuition fees. Terms and conditions apply.

NCUK International Foundation Year Scholarships – Psychology International Excellence Scholarship

An award of £10,000 tuition fee reduction is automatically awarded to high-achieving applicants who achieve AAA or above. Terms and conditions apply. Find out more here.

NCUK International Year One Scholarships Engineering

NCUK International Year One students may receive a scholarship of 10% of the full international tuition fee for each year of the programme (in the form of a partial fee waiver), subject to satisfactory progression.
