Studying at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, means stepping into an international, future-focused environment where talent is recognisedsupported and constantly pushed further. And to make that journey even more accessible, NABA offers scholarships for international students ready to turn ambition into reality — including the NABA’s Got Talent scholarship.

NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti: who we are

Founded in 1980, NABA is today Italy’s largest Fine Arts Academy, built on a mission to challenge the rigidity of traditional academic models and open education to experimentation, research and real-world practice.

With campuses in Milan, Rome, and London, NABA delivers a truly international experience in some of Europe’s most vibrant creative hubs and professional ecosystems.

NABA’s approach is rooted in learning by doing. Ideas are never abstract: they become projects, strategies, prototypes and — in many cases — real products developed in collaboration with companies and institutions. Teaching is interdisciplinary and research-driven, guided by a faculty made up of renowned professionals and international practitioners who work at the forefront of the creative industries.

NABA International recognition: QS World University Rankings

For the fifth consecutive year, NABA has been recognised by QS World University Rankings by Subject as the first and only Italian Fine Arts Academy among the Top 100 universities worldwide in Art & Design.

This prestigious acknowledgement confirms the strength of NABA’s educational model, its international relevance and its ability to prepare students for the evolving creative landscape.

NABA Career Service and Alumni Relations: supporting international students’ careers

Studying abroad also means preparing to enter a new professional environment. For this reason, NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, provides international students with structured career support throughout their academic and beyond graduation.

Through the Career Service and Alumni Relations Office, students receive individual guidance tailored to their area of study and to their personal career objectives, with dedicated advisors supporting them in navigating both the Italian and international creative job markets.

An unmissable opportunity: NABA’s Got Talent scholarship

Talent can’t grow without the chance to start — that’s why NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, launched NABA’s Got Talent, the scholarship competition designed to support outstanding international students applying to Bachelor of Arts Degree Programmes for the 2026/27 Academic Year.

The initiative aims to promote strong creative potential, commitment, and the ability to transform ideas into meaningful projects by offering financial support of up to €7,000, covering part of the tuition fee for bachelor’s programme starting in October 2026 at the Milan and Rome campuses.

Applications are evaluated by NABA’s Admission Jury through a qualitative assessment of each candidate’s portfolio and motivation letter (artistic statement)

Portfolios are assessed according to the following criteria:

  • aesthetic sensitivity and originality
  • composition, drawing and design skills
  • colour and spatial perception
  • technical quality and craftsmanship
  • clarity and quality of presentation

Special consideration is given to strong 2D and 3D projects, fully developed works and pieces that demonstrate a personal vision, solid technique, and thoughtful execution.

Deadline for participating in the competition: March 18th, 2026. Don’t miss the chance!
