Twin was founded in 1995 and has been teaching English to international students for more than 25 years, accredited by the British Council and now hosts students from over 90 countries. Located since 2015 in a new, purpose-built school facility, the school is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich – itself a top 10 UK visitor attraction, and home to Greenwich University, unique historic architecture and the world-famous 02 Music Venue. The school site is co-located with extensive health and fitness (Gym, swim, studios) which are available at extra cost to Twin students. Access to the on-site public library is free.
In addition to British Council accreditation, which singled out teaching as a particular strength, Twin Group companies are also inspected by Ofsted (the Office for Standards in Education), the UK Government inspectorate for schools, and the Independent Schools Inspectorate, which inspects the UK’s world-famous top private schools.
For Twin, the NCUK International Foundation Year is an accepted pathway not only to a world-respected degree but also to a successful career.
Twin already supports thousands of students in contemporary adult education contracts for UK Government and thousands more in year-long, award-winning (PIE Employability International Impact Award 2023) professional work placements for overseas Master’s Degree students from a range of overseas countries. Twin remains the only 5-times winner of the English UK Works Experience award and welcomes students whose ambition is as strong as its ambition for you!
