Wenzhou Foreign Language Senior High School 温州外国语高级中学

Set on a 205-mu (approximately 13.7-hectare) campus with 110,000 m²of British-style architecture, the school offers a modern, ecological and well-resourced learning environment. Its management and teaching teams are appointed by Wenzhou High School — more than one third of its teachers come from that school — and students share Wenzhou High School’s teaching resources, joint examinations and collaborative development programmes.

The school is ranked by the Wenzhou Municipal Education Bureau as a Tier-1 (Group A) general high school, one of only 19 in the city. Its students have achieved outstanding results, winning more than 50 national, 100 provincial and 130 municipal awards in academic competitions in recent years, including a gold medal at the National Chemistry Olympiad.  

The International Division of the school launched its operation in 2019. On May 13, 2019, it became one of Wenzhou’s first officially authorised Cambridge International Schools by Cambridge Assessment International Education, with the authorisation number CN513.

On April 11, 2024, it was officially approved as an official Pearson Edexcel Examination Centre under the centre number 96929. In May of the same year, it was awarded the title of “Model IELTS High School” by the official IELTS authority. 

The International Division has graduated five cohorts of students so far. For five consecutive years, 100% of its graduates have received offers from the world’s top 100 universities. A new milestone was achieved in 2026, when all students secured admissions to the world’s top 50 universities with outstanding results.

The International Division currently offers the A-Level curriculum. Backed by premium educational resources and a professional curriculum system, it builds a solid pathway for students to gain admission to leading universities worldwide. 

Alongside its domestic academic curriculum and A level curriculum pathways, the school now offers the NCUK International Foundation Year，providing students with a further route to leading universities worldwide.
