Xi’an Middle School of Shaanxi Province (3-year senior high school), is a boarding school established in 1905, the only middle school under the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government. There are over 5,400 students and 421 teachers in the school. The enrolment rate of famous Chinese universities, such as “Double Top” university of China, has remained at more than 75%.
In 2011, the school set up an International Department to accommodate students who wish to study abroad and was authorised by the College Board to offer Advanced Placement courses. Up to now, over 92.6% of graduates have been admitted to the QS world’s top 100 universities.
