Inaugural NCUK Conference Dubai

NCUK South Asia Conference

A new type of activity for NCUK was held earlier this month which seeks to connect schools with NCUK delivery centres and universities and increase engagement.

Over 15 schools counsellors from India, Pakistan and the UAE attended a two day event in Dubai to learn about the new NCUK offerings in their country, meet NCUK University staff and gain valuable insight into applying to universities in the UK.

A two day programme involved attendees from three NC universities and NCUK delivery centres, Riphah International University and The Chopras Institute of Education. The event included interactive sessions on studying in the UK, NCUK’s programmes and guest lectures from academics at The University of Sheffield, The University of Huddersfield and The University of Salford.

The conference comes at the perfect time for Pakistan where the news of the recent change in Riphah-NCUK’s HEC listing now enables A Level students to study NCUK’s 1+2 pathway, obtaining a recognised degree faster.
