NCUK is pleased to announce a new partnership with Alvis Education, an international education group focused on academic preparation and progression for students seeking to study at universities overseas.
The partnership brings together NCUK’s globally recognised university pathway programmes and quality assurance framework with Alvis Education’s experience in international education delivery and market development. The collaboration aims to expand access to high-quality pathway education that prepares students for successful progression to undergraduate study at leading universities worldwide.
Subject to NCUK’s academic approval and quality assurance processes, Alvis Pathway – the pathway delivery brand of Alvis Education – will work towards delivering selected NCUK pathway programmes across key international markets. The first student cohorts are expected to commence from 2026.
NCUK pathway programmes are recognised by over 70 university partners worldwide, including 10 World Top 100 and 21 World Top 200 (QS World University Rankings 2026), offering students a trusted route to university with strong academic outcomes and progression opportunities.
Students who successfully complete an NCUK pathway programme benefit from structured academic and English language preparation, integrated support, and clear progression routes aligned to university entry requirements.
Stuart Smith, Chief Executive Officer at NCUK, said:
This partnership reflects NCUK’s ongoing commitment to working with high-quality, values-aligned organisations to extend access to our pathway programmes globally. By collaborating with Alvis Education, we can continue to support students in achieving their ambitions to study at leading universities around the world.
Alejandra Vicencio, CEO of Alvis Pathway, commented:
We are very excited about the positive impact our partnership with NCUK can have on international students and the wider international learning ecosystem. Creating a sustainable and accessible offer for students who continue to value international education is central to Alvis Pathway. We believe this collaboration demonstrates how flexibility and quality, developed closely with our delivery partners, can bring a much-needed refresh to the way pathway programmes are delivered. We look forward to seeing where this partnership takes us.
Sam Fenwick, Director, Academic & Quality Assurance at Alvis Pathway, added:
Quality is at the heart of everything we do at Alvis, and our partnership with NCUK reflects a shared commitment to delivering strong, academically rigorous programmes. Through clear academic frameworks and regular quality assurance processes, we ensure our courses provide students with an excellent learning experience. Our aim is not only for students to succeed academically, but to build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve strong outcomes as they progress to university.
Alvis Pathway plans to launch selected NCUK programmes in key international markets, with the first student cohorts expected in 2026. Further updates will be shared as the partnership develops and delivery plans are confirmed.
