NCUK partners with Norwich University of the Arts

NCUK has announced a new partnership with Norwich University of the Arts, a specialist creative arts university based in the historic city of Norwich, England.

Under the new agreement, students who successfully complete NCUK’s pathway programmes at any of its Study Centres worldwide will gain a direct progression route to Norwich University of the Arts’ undergraduate degree courses. The university offers 100% project-based study across Art and Design, Fashion, Film, Music, Acting, Business, Psychology, Marketing and Computing, giving NCUK students access to a hands-on, industry-focused learning environment renowned for developing practical skills and professional portfolios.

Norwich University of the Arts has been recognised with a 5-Star Excellence Rating for Teaching in the QS Stars 2026 ratings and achieved triple Gold for teaching, learning and student experience in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2023. It is ranked the UK’s top creative arts university outside London by the Complete University Guide 2027. The university is based in Norwich, which was named the Best Place to Live 2026 by The Sunday Times.

Norwich University of the Arts has a strong track record of producing graduates who go on to achieve national and international recognition, including BAFTA-nominated production designer Stuart Craig who worked on the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, comic artist Brian Bolland best known for his contribution to Judge Dredd and DC Comics series, Lewis Benfield who uses motion design, real-time content, projection mapping and immersive storytelling to produce projects such as ‘Power Your Dreams!’ – an Xbox experience, and compositor and senior paint artist Anita Clipston.

The university also maintains close ties with leading industry bodies, including ScreenSkills, the Independent Games Developers’ Association, the Association of Photographers, the Graduate Fashion Foundation and the Architects Registration Board, ensuring courses remain closely aligned with industry standards and that students benefit from live briefs, work placements, internships and guest lectures from professionals in their fields.

The partnership adds to NCUK’s growing global network of university partners, providing students at NCUK Study Centres around the world with an expanded range of progression options into specialist creative education.
