NCUK Response and Support for Students and Partners Impacted by COVID-19

Posted:

NCUK has been working with our Partners and wider network to ensure that we can support our students impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  We are facilitating remote support to our Study Centres in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam where school closures run the risk of impacting our students’ ability to complete their foundation or university preparation courses. With the introduction of additional exam cycles, all students should be able to sit their exams in time to progress to take their place at university.

For our universities, we have presented a range of proposals to support their own activities and considerations for students who are intending to join a university in 2020. This includes:

  • Access to additional English Language testing via NCUK Study Centres from May 2020;
  • The opportunity to refer any students who need to defer their place at university onto NCUK undergraduate degree pathways, to allow them to continue their studies without delay;
  • Access to NCUK Study Centres to hold examination and invigilation services.

Whilst the situation remains fluid, NCUK will continue to track and monitor ways of supporting our students and Partners. Any enquiries related to this information, please email together@ncuk.ac.uk using the subject title COVID-19.
