NCUK has launched its comprehensive Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) Strategy for 2025-2029, setting out our ambitious vision to enhance educational quality and student outcomes across our global network of delivery partners.
The strategy, developed through extensive consultation with stakeholders from across the organisation and key international partners, establishes six strategic aims designed to prepare students for academic success while supporting delivery partners with innovative resources and expert guidance.
This strategy represents a true collaborative effort. From our Board and Senior Leadership Team through to Business Development colleagues, Academic Managers globally, and our valued delivery partners, everyone has contributed to creating something that truly represents our collective vision for the future of international education.
Professor Victoria O’Donnell, Chief Academic Officer at NCUK
The strategy’s mission emphasises NCUK’s commitment to ensuring learning, teaching and assessment are inextricably linked in curriculum design, equipping delivery partners with tools for high-quality, innovative and inclusive academic experiences.
Key strategic aims include preparing students for future academic success, delivering dynamic programmes underpinned by contemporary pedagogical principles, and fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in design, development and delivery.
Central to the approach are 16 pedagogical principles ranging from student-centredness and inclusivity to innovation and authenticity, ensuring all NCUK programmes provide challenging yet accessible educational experiences.
The strategy builds on NCUK’s established reputation as a leading pathway provider, reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence and student success across its university partner network.
