Study in Australia or New Zealand

From February 2022, New Zealand and Australia will be opening their borders to welcome thousands of international students. This is great news as you will now have the chance to progress to a wide range of top-ranked universities in these popular study destinations, where there are hundreds of degree courses to choose from.

University Applications

Universities in Australia and New Zealand accept applications on a rolling basis, but we strongly encourage you to apply before 31 March 2022 to ensure that you can get an offer from your favourite course. Keep in mind that NCUK will still be able to submit your application after this deadline, but popular courses might already be full!

Scholarships

To help you get there, New Zealand universities have offered NZD $300,000 in scholarships dedicated to students completing NCUK qualifications, making your start to a New Zealand education even easier. Some are awarded automatically, offering up to NZD $6,000 to NCUK students, and some universities also fund high achieving students.

Some of the most popular scholarships are from The University of Auckland, which offers up to $10,000 NZD to high achieving students or Massey University, which also has scholarships worth $30,000 NZD

Work opportunities

Australia and New Zealand are great study destinations that allow for students to work whilst they study and to stay after they’ve graduated.

You will be allowed to work part-time whilst you study and, depending on the destination, you would be able to stay and work for up to 3 years after you graduate.
