NCUK Prize Awards 2017 – The Results

Since the release of the shortlist for the NCUK Prize Awards 2017, our Study Centres have been eagerly anticipating the final results. The prestigious NCUK Prize Awards 2017 ceremony took place in Manchester on Wednesday 22nd November 2017.

The event was a huge success, which also featured a Student Prize Award ceremony to showcase the achievement of top performing students. Each year, NCUK awards prizes to students with the best academic results from the NCUK global network. The annual prize fund exceeds £50,000 and individual academic merit prizes range from £50 to £1,000.

The results were announced in front of a large audience consisting of NCUK University representatives, NCUK Study Centres from across our global network, NCUK Board of Trustees, as well as NCUK Student Prize Award winners.

The winner of each category was invited on stage to receive their award and certificate. NCUK would like to congratulate all our 2017 award winners and the study centres who have been recognised as highly commended:

NCUK Outstanding Academic Performance (IFY)

(Determined by: Overall average of subject points)

Winner: Brookstone International Foundation School

Highly Commended: St Peter’s International College & Wuhan Britain-China School

NCUK Excellence in Academic Administration Award

(Determined by: Demonstrating effective implementation of all aspects of NCUK’s academic processes in registration, assessment and marking)

Winner: The Oncourse centres (GuangzhouWuhan and Xi’an)

Highly Commended: No 7 Middle School International Department, Chengdu (IFY team) & INTO Manchester (EAP Team)

 

NCUK University Admissions Award

(Determined by: Highest number of students placed in NCUK Universities)

Winner: Brookstone International Foundation School

Highly Commended: Qingdao Yinhai Academy & NCUK Shenyang University Centre

 

NCUK Excellence in Student Counselling Award

(Determined by: Demonstrating effective implementation of all aspects of NCUK’s academic processes in registration, assessment and marking)

Winner: INTO Manchester (PMP Team)

Highly Commended: beo Osaka & Zamani College

 

NCUK Outstanding Event Award

(Determined by: Recognising successful and engaging events to boost awareness of an NCUK Study Centre)

Winner: Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) – Launch Event

Highly Commended: IEN Institute – Alumni Event, University Foundation College – Launch Event, Riphah International University – Riphah Outreach Roadshows

 

NCUK Student Experience Award

(Determined by: Highest proportion of student satisfaction ratings from the annual NCUK Student Satisfaction survey)

Winner: Cogdel Group (Chengdu and Suzhou)

Highly Commended: Brookhouse School & Oxbridge Tutorial College

 

NCUK Digital Enterprise Award

(Determined by: Dynamic and modern website, as well as consistent and engaging posts on social media)

Winner: DIFC

Highly Commended: ABAC Study Abroad Centre – Assumption University, Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) & University Foundation College
